Georgia has officially joined the European Eurydice Network, marking a significant milestone in its journey toward deeper integration with the European education community. This expansion, which also welcomed Moldova and Ukraine, was announced in January 2024, bringing the total number of national units in the network to 43.
In Georgia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth serves as the Eurydice National Unit, contributing national data and analysis to this European knowledge base . This participation enables Georgia to share its educational developments and reforms while benefiting from the experiences and best practices of other member countries.
Joining the Eurydice Network aligns with Georgia’s broader educational reform agenda, as outlined in the 2022–2030 Unified National Strategy of Education and Science. This strategy emphasizes aligning Georgia’s education system with European standards, enhancing quality, inclusivity, and sustainability across all levels of education .
